“ Just passing through and decided it's momo time. YeLP actually recommended this spot. 4-1/2 stars. Nice call. They were right. My favourite was the chili but the rest of the table stuck with vegetarian fried momos, which I admit were a pleasure. The fillings exploded with flavour and things were not over spiced. With the exception of the Butayko. Too much for my blood. I love their expansive menu. Vegetarians and Vegans alike should be pleased with the selections available. The price isn't the best but fair for the quantity of food. The dining area is open and not the biggest area. Maybe a couple dozen guests? Service is professional and friendly. Atmosphere is inviting and comfortable. This goes on the list to try again. I overheard compliments on the Lahasa chowmein and the Sherpa Stew. Will be trying those on the next visit. 04/25 ”

“ Yum! Wonderful service and amazing food! They were slammed today, but our food was fast and super hot! We will definitely be back. I had the vegetable chow mein, which was so yummy, my husband had the Butayko,, and he loved it. Highly recommend! ”

“ First the place is beautiful on the inside what a lovely ambiance. So warm and cozy. THEN I get the best Indian food I've ever had, and I've had a lot. I ordered the chicken makhani extra extra hot. Granted it was not spicy at all, so if you don't like spice it's a great dish for you. So creamy and flavorful and then the garlic naan was the best softest yummy naan ever. We also got the chicken momo and the sauce with those was lovely I suggest it all. My friend got the cilantro lime chicken on special. It was so sweet and soft and well done. All around 5 stars, you have to come eat here! ”

“ I was craving momos and decided to try Everest Sherpa--it did not disappoint! We ordered the vegetarian fried momos and chili momos, both of which were absolutely delicious. The fillings and flavors were spot on and completely satisfied my cravings. We also tried the Butayko and Lhasa Chowmein. While the Butayko was a bit too spicy for me, the Chowmein was fantastic, with noodles cooked to perfection. The restaurant has a nice open seating area with plenty of tables and colorful napkins, creating a charming and cozy vibe. Although we stuck to vegetarian dishes that evening, I was happy to learn they also serve halal meat--I'll definitely try that next time. I loved this spot and have already recommended it to everyone I know near Ann Arbor! ”

“ Still one of my top spots in Ann Arbor. The food is amazing. Service and employees are so kind and welcoming. Love the restaurant. My go to is the chicken tikka masala with some garlic naan. Delicious! Have gotten the momos several times (prefer the fried option). The lime chicken specialty dish is very tasty. Have also tried the stew and lo mein. Everything is good! I love the Sherpa tea as well. Get yourself a cup! ”

“ Just absolutely amazing, there's nothing else to say, the food, service, and experience of this restaurant was fantastic. Traditional tastes of the curries, momos, even their soup was spectacular, which was on special. This is a definite go to when in the Ann Arbor area. We were stopping in our way through the area while traveling. Highly recommend this restaurant. The ambience is quaint and has a very authentic feel. The music was also nice and made the visit enjoyable. Try it out for yourself. ”

“ Everything was great! The staff was very friendly and the food was amazing! I love how they clearly mark the vegan options on the menu. We were so excited to try Himalayan food, so we ordered a lot and took half home. We got chili vegetable momos (you need to get these, amazing!), samosas, pan seared tofu dinner, and they were able to accommodate and make Butayko vegan, using tofu instead of paneer. To accompany the dishes, we got aloo paratha and garlic naan for my husband (not vegan). Everything was very flavorful and fresh. We will definitely be back to try more dishes. ”

“ It has been a very long time since my last visit. Wonderful Nepali food with Indian specialties too! I went the Nepali route today. I had the curry chicken coconut corn chowder, chili chicken momos, and Lhasa chicken chow mein. The soup was very flavorful albeit a little salty. The Lhasa chow mein was unique, had a great flavor, and was very enjoyable. However, the star of the show was the chicken chili momos; just fantastic. And a great cup of Sherpa chai to finish my meal. I will return to try other items on the menu and will get the Sherpa stew for which I have enjoyed before and is fantastic. ”
